Who is Anna Schuleit?
Anna Schuleit is a visual artist who lives and works in the United States. She attended high school in the United States at Northfield Mount Hermon School before pursuing painting at the Rhode Island School of Design where she received her B.F.A. in 1998, and creative writing / book arts at Dartmouth College. In 2013 Schuleit married composer Yotam Haber.
Her work has been featured in exhibitions at the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the University of Massachusetts Amherst; Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine; the Brattleboro Museum & Art Center; The Matzo Files, New York; the Mousonturm, Frankfurt, Germany; and the Carpenter Center at Harvard University, among others.
She has been a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, the RISD European Honors Program in Rome, the MacDowell Colony, Yaddo, Blue Mountain Center, the Banff Center, and the Bogliasco Foundation.
In 2006 Schuleit was named a MacArthur Fellow for work that has "conceptual clarity, compassion, and beauty".
