Who is Annette Tånnander?
Annette Viveka Tånnander-Bank is a retired Swedish athlete who participated in the heptathlon and high jump events. She represented her native country twice in the Olympics: she was seventh in the 1976 Montreal Olympic high jump, clearing 1.87m, and finished 14th in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic heptathlon with 5908 points.
Moving to the U.S. in 1978 on a scholarship, she became a massage therapist, fitness trainer and an author after her career, among others writing the book Complete Idiots Guide To Fitness with Claire Walter. Tånnander-Bank is married, is a proponent of nordic walking and currently lives in Boulder, Colorado, USA.
