Who is Annette Zilinskas?

Annette Zilinskas is an American musician and singer of Lithuanian ancestry who was the original bass guitarist for The Bangles then later lead vocalist with Blood on the Saddle. She was also a member of L.A. band The Ringling Sisters from.

A native of Southern California, she was born Annette Celia Genevieve Zilinskas in Van Nuys and was recruited into The Bangs, which later became The Bangles, as bass guitarist.

She played bass and harmonica on The Bangles' eponymously titled 5-track EP, but left the band to join Blood on the Saddle as lead singer before The Bangles' first album. After her departure, Michael Steele was found as a replacement by IRS Records.
