Who is Anthony Dickerson?

Anthony Charles Dickerson was an American football linebacker in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills. He played college football at Southern Methodist University.

Anthony Dickerson'd family moved to Pearland in 1957, but it was not until after integration that he started Pearland schools. Before the 3rd grade he attended Ralph A Bunch in Manvel, Texas.

Dickerson, the youngest of five siblings, started his college career at Trinity Valley Community College where he played for the 1975-76 seasons.He went on to a record-setting career at Southern Methodist University and played six seasons in the NFL — five with the Dallas Cowboys and one with the Buffalo Bills. In 1983, his sack of Ken Stabler for a safety won a game for the Cowboys against the New Orleans Saints. He had 10.5 sacks that season. On October 1, 2011 Dickerson was inducted to the TVCC Cardinal Hall of Fame.1
