Who was Anton Collin?

Anton Johannes Collin was a Finnish cross country skier and cyclist. He was born in Pihlajavesi and died in Ähtäri.

Collin won the 50 km event at the 1922 Holmenkollen ski festival and became the first non-Norwegian to win at any event up to that time.

At the 1924 Winter Olympics he participated in the 50 kilometre event but did not finish. He also competed in two cycling events at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
