Who was Antonio Barceló?

Don Antonio Barceló was a Spanish Balearic mariner, lieutenant general of the Spanish Royal Armada.

He is famous for his anti-Algerian privateer campaigns, bombardments of Algiers and use of Floating Batteries during the Great Siege of Gibraltar.
