Who is Arjun Jena?

Arjun jena is a cinematographer from Chennai. During 1990, he joined Cinematographer P. C. Sreeram as assistant cameraman, working on such films as Thevar Magan, Thiruda Thiruda, May Madham, and Padmashree Kamal Hassan's Thevar Magan, passvalai and kurudhipunnal. Later during 1996, he worked with cinematographer Jeeva as an operating cameraman on Tamil films like Indian, Vaali, Kushi, Ullasham and Run, and Hindi films Zor, Hera Pheri and Tera ghar mera ghar.

Arjun Jena started his independent career in cinematography with Director Kathir for his Tamil feature film Kadhal Virus in the year 2000.

Arjun Jena's first film received a nomination at the National Award and won the Tamil Nadu state government award in 2002. Arjun Jena's very first experiment with the short film Silent Scream in the year 1998 was awarded National Award for Best Short Film in Three categories for social awareness.
