Who is Armond Budish?

Armond D. Budish is the Democratic representative for the 8th District of the Ohio House of Representatives. First elected into service during the 127th General Assembly of 2007, he was re-elected in the 128th, where he served as Speaker of the House. He is the first Jewish representative in his state's history to hold that office. He was elected to two more terms, in 2010 and 2012, and is prohibited by term limits from running for another term in the house.

Before his entry into politics in 2006, he was an attorney specializing in consumer and elder law with Budish, Solomon, Steiner & Peck and has written several books and many articles on the subject.
