Who is Arthur Anton Vogel?
Arthur Anton Vogel was fifth bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of West Missouri. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he was educated at Nashotah House Theological Seminary, the University of Chicago, and Harvard University. After ordination, he was rector of St. John Chrysostom Church from 1953 to 1957. Concurrent with this position, he was Professor of Philosophical and Systematic Theology at Nashotah House from 1952 to 1971. He served as diocesan bishop of West Missouri from 1973–1989.
