Who was Arthur Floyer-Acland?

Lieutenant General Arthur Nugent Floyer-Acland CB, DSO, MC, DL was a senior officer of the British Army who served in both World War I and World War II. He was Military Secretary from 1940 to 1942. In later life, he was High Sheriff and Deputy Lieutenant of the County of Dorset.
