Who was Arthur Leslie?
Arthur Leslie 8 December 1901 – 30 June 1970 was a British actor who was born in Newark, Nottinghamshire but moved to Lancashire at an early age. His first job was in 1916 at the Old Queen's Theatre in Farnworth and he earned great fame playing genial Rovers Return Inn landlord Jack Walker on Coronation Street from 1960 to 1970.
