Who is Arthur Trousdell?

Arthur Trousdell is a New Zealand-British professional basketball player.

Born in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, he attended Hastings Boys' High School and was a member of the New Zealand Under-18 and Under-20 national teams. He was a member of the New Zealand national basketball team squad for 2005.

He attended Southwest Baptist University playing in the MIAA conference from 2002–2004. He transferred to Cameron University for his junior in 2004 and completed in the Lone Star conference. He graduated with a BSc in Physical Education in May 2006.

He played for the Hawke's Bay Hawks 2006 champions of the New Zealand NBL before shifting to the Wellington Saints in the 2008 season where they lost in the final series to the Waikato Pistons.

After spending several months in the Bahamas during the early part of 2010, he signed with the Southland Sharks for the remainder of the 2010 New Zealand NBL season. For the 2011 NBL season, Trousdell played for the Hawke's Bay Hawks. For the 2012 and 2013 NBL seasons, he played for the Wellington Saints.

In December 2013, he signed with the Manawatu Jets for the 2014 New Zealand NBL season.

When not playing basketball, Trousdell is a teacher at Raphael House Rudolf Steiner School in Hutt Valley.
