Who was Arumugampillai Coomaraswamy?
Gate Mudaliyar Arumugampillai Coomaraswamy was a Sri Lankan Tamil politician during the British Ceylon, and served on the Legislative Council from 1833 to 1846. He was the father of Sir Muthu Coomaraswamy and grandfather of Ananda Coomaraswamy.
