Who is Aryeh Krishek?

Aryeh Krishek is an Israeli novelist and biographer also active in film and journalism. Among his better known works are Burial in Jerusalem, In a Straight Line and No Casualties to our Forces.

He was one of the key figures in the Nimrodi affairs of 1994–2004, a series of incidents in the framework of the rivalry between leading newspapers Yedioth Ahronoth and Ma'ariv, and was sentenced to five months incarceration. He was also the co-founder and director, with composer Alexander Kagan, of the short-lived Israeli Chamber Opera and in 1975 wrote the script for the political film The Honey Connection.
