Who was John Adams?
John Bertram Adams was a professional baseball player in the early 20th century. Primarily a catcher, Adams played from 1910 to 1919, with the Cleveland Naps and Philadelphia Phillies. Adams was not a good hitter, most likely the reason why he never played more than 84 games in a season. Adams' batting average was .202.
