Who is Bilal Asad?

Bilal Asad is a Pakistani first class cricketer for Islamabad. A right-handed batsman and handy right-arm medium bowler, Asad has made over 7000 first class runs in a career which began in 1995/96. He has a Viv Richards-like stance and stylish pull shots are his trademark and he can bat anywhere in the order. He's also a handy hand medium pacer, who bowls around 75 mph.

Asad went with Pakistan on a tour of England in 2003 but did not get a game. At 32, he is likely to be too old to make his international debut.
