Who was Billy Murdoch?
William Lloyd Murdoch was an Australian cricketer, who captained the Australian team on tours to England in 1880, 1882, 1884 and 1890. Murdoch was born in Sandhurst, Victoria, to Gilbert Murdoch and his wife Susanna née Fleigge. He is the first cricketer to score a double century in Test Cricket.
