Birgitte Federspiel was a Danish film, theater, and TV actress. As a younger woman she won two Bodil Awards for film with the first win in 1951.
She had a notable film roles as Inger in Ordet and, in later life, as Martina in Babette's Feast, while on TV she played "Baroness von Rydtger" in three episodes of Matador.
