Who was Bob Celeri?
Robert Lavern Celeri is a former quarterback in the National Football League. He played 11 games for the New York Yanks in 1951 and 8 games for the Dallas Texans in 1952.
Celeri quarterbacked the Kitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen a minor pro team in the Ontario Rugby Football Union in Ontario, Canada from 1953 till the league folded in 1960 and he was MVP of the ORFU in 1954 and 1955. He then went to Buffalo with his coach Harvey Johnson.
