Robert Garfield "Bob" Vail, nicknamed "Doc", was a Major League Baseball pitcher who briefly played with the Pittsburgh Pirates during the 1908 season. He batted and threw right-handed.

He was born in Linneus, Maine and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
