Who is Bríd Brennan?

Bríd Brennan is a Northern Irish actress of film, stage and television, best known for her theatre work. She originated the role of Agnes in critically acclaimed performances of Brian Friel's Dancing at Lughnasa for which she won a Tony Award. She later reprised this role in the film version, starring alongside Meryl Streep and Michael Gambon in 1998.
