Who is Bruce P. Lapenson?

Bruce P. Lapenson, associate professor of political science at North Carolina Central University, is the author of Affirmative Action and the Meanings of Merit. Mr. Lapenson also edited and wrote the introduction to Uncovering Our Masks: A Freud Reader.

His teaching interests include Political Philosophy as well as Race and Politics. His research interests are Public Policy, Affirmative Action, and Sigmund Freud.

Mr. Lapenson was born in 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
