Who is Carl R Trueman?
Carl R. Trueman is a Christian theologian and church historian. He is Professor of Historical Theology and Church History and holds the Paul Woolley Chair of Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary.
Dr. Trueman is also the Pastor of Cornerstone Presbyterian Church in Ambler, PA. He has authored many books, including; The Creedal Imperative Fools Rush in Where Monkeys Fear to Tread: Taking Aim at Everyone and Republocrat: Confessions of a Liberal Conservative, He blogs regularly at Reformation21 and co-hosts the Mortification of Spin podcast.
Trueman studied at St Catharine's College, Cambridge and the University of Aberdeen, and previously taught at the University of Aberdeen and the University of Nottingham. He was editor of Themelios from 1998 to 2007, and is a council member of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals.
