Who was Casey Walters?
Casey Walters was an American actor best known for his co-starring role as Sergeant Jim Warren on the 1957-1958 syndicated television series Harbor Command. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Walters was cast at the age of forty-one in all thirty-nine Harbor Command episodes, starring Wendell Corey as Captain Ralph Baxter. The program deals with adventures of United States Coast Guardsmen.
Walters' first television role was as Major Denning in the 1952 episode "Woman with a Sword" of the NBC anthology series the Hallmark Hall of Fame. In 1958, he had an uncredited role as Eddie Dine in the crime drama film, The True Story of Lynn Stuart, starring Betsy Palmer and Jack Lord. His last screen role was as Mr. Martinez in the 1959 episode "Eye Witness" of the ABC drama, Man with a Camera, starring Charles Bronson.
Walters was living in New York State when he procured his Social Security number. He died in Helena, Montana, from complications of a stroke. The Social Security Death Index does not indicate his last city of residence.
