Who is Caspar John Hare?

Caspar John Hare, born April 8, 1972, is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has worked on the metaphysics of self and time, including his work on egocentric presentism / perspectival realism, as well as on ethics. He teaches a massive open online course on the edX platform. He is the heir apparent to his father, Michael John Hare, 2nd Viscount Blakenham.
