Who is Čedo Vuković?
Čedo Vuković is a Montenegrin writer.
Vuković was born in Đulići, Andrijevica municipality in north-eastern Montenegro.
He is very prolific author but his masterpiece is still considered to be one of his early novels "Mrtvo duboko". It is a story written in an innovative style, about hiding of a Partisan from Chetniks in an isolated Montenegrin village called Mrtvo Duboko during World War II.
Among his other noted works are books for children "Svemoćno oko", "Letjelica profesora Bistrouma" and "Tim Lavlje srce".
He wrote many other novels including "Visine" and "Rustem", dramatic works like "Bijele vrane" and "Harmonija", and short-story collections.
He lives in Podgorica and Budva and is a member of Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts.
