Who is Charlie Manuel?
Charles Fuqua Manuel, Jr. is an American former professional baseball manager and former player. He played in Major League Baseball from 1969–1975 and in Nippon Professional Baseball as an outfielder from 1976–1981. After his playing career, Manuel became an MLB coach and manager, most recently managing the Philadelphia Phillies from 2005–2013. Manuel managed the Phillies to a championship title during the 2008 World Series.
