Who was Chico Hernández?
Salvador José "Chico" Hernández Ramos was a Major League Baseball catcher. He played two seasons in the majors, 1942 and 1943, for the Chicago Cubs.
During the 1942 season, Hernández formed the first all-Latin American battery along with Hi Bithorn.
