Who is Chris Isaac?

Christopher Dwight Isaac is a former quarterback with the Ottawa Rough Riders of the Canadian Football League.

After a stellar career as a star quarterback at New Smyrna Beach High School, Isaac played college football at Eastern Kentucky University, and subsequently joined Ottawa for the 1982 season. In his first start he set the team record with 471 yards passing and tied a record with 5 touchdown passes. He finished the year with 18 touchdown passes and 3,408 passing yards, which was good enough to win him the CFL's Most Outstanding Rookie Award. He could not repeat this success and lasted only one more year in the CFL, playing 11 games in 1983 and losing the QB job to J.C. Watts.

After his playing career ended, Isaac worked as an assistant coach at several high schools and colleges, including Bethune-Cookman College.
