Who is Christine Hardman?
Christine Elizabeth Hardman is an Anglican priest: she was the Archdeacon of Lewisham and Greenwich until her retirement on 30 November 2012. She is now an archdeacon-emeritus.
Hardman was educated at Queen Elizabeth's School for Girls, Barnet and London University. She was ordained deacon in 1987 and priest in 1994. She served as a deaconess at Markyate Street from1984 to 1988 and as the Course Director of the St Albans and Oxford Ministry Course from 1988 to 1996. She was Vicar of Holy Trinity, Stevenage from 1996 to 2001. She is also a Member of the General Synod of the Church of England and the Prolocutor of the Lower House of the Convocation of Canterbury.
