Who is Colleen McGill?

Colleen McGill is a well known Canadian interior designer who has gained international recognition for her work. She is a principal in the architectural and interior design firm McGill Design Group Inc., based in Toronto, which has been involved in high-end residential interior design projects around the world.

In 2012 McGill launched her own furniture line called Plum Furniture which features a collection of fine upholstered furniture along with case goods and accessories.

Colleen McGill is the only Canadian to be included in Designer House along with celebrity designers Aerin Lauder, Celerie Kemble, Jeffrey Alan Marks and Suzanne Kasler - a site which showcases the world's elite designers work and their collections.

Most recently one of her designs was featured on the show HGTV's Top 10 which highlights the top 10 Rooms in North America, and her work is regularly featured in Canadian House and Home magazine. In Canadian House and Home's 20th Anniversary issue in December 2006 McGill was listed in their "IT LIST" of designers whose work had graced their pages most often over the past decade.

In the 2010 Spring edition of HOMEFRONT Magazine, Jeffrey Fisher a contributor to the National Post magazine conducted an interview with Colleen titled "Sitting Down with Colleen McGill".
