Concordia Selander

Who was Concordia Selander?

Concordia Cornelia Johanna Selander, née Hård, was a Swedish actress and theatre manager.

She first trained at the school of the Royal Swedish Ballet and later at the Royal Theatre's acting school Dramatens elevskola. She was active at Stora teatern in Gothenburg 1883-85, at various travelling theatre companies in 1885-88, at the Swedish Theatre in 1888-89 and then at the company of Hjalmar Selander.

She was married to Hjalmar Selander from 1887, with whom she for many years ran the well-known Selander Company in Sweden.
