Who was Coy Gibbs?
Coy Randall Gibbs was a former NASCAR driver, an assistant coach with the Washington Redskins, and co-owner of Joe Gibbs Racing. His father is NASCAR Championship owner and Hall of Fame former Head Coach Joe Gibbs of the Washington Redskins. Originally from Fayetteville, Arkansas, Gibbs lived in Cornelius, North Carolina with his wife Heather and their four children, sons Ty, Case and Jett plus daughter Elle. Ty races in the NASCAR Cup series, for Joe Gibbs Racing, in the #54 Toyota Camry.
