Who was D. V. Graves?

Dorsett Vandeventer "Tubby" Graves was an American football, basketball, and baseball coach and a player of football and baseball. He served as the head football coach at the University of Alabama, Texas A&M University, and the Agricultural College of the State of Montana—now Montana State University, compiling a career record of 32–18–4. Graves also coached basketball at Alabama, Texas A&M, and Montana Agricultural and baseball at Alabama, Texas A&M, and the University of Washington. In 1912, Graves was the manager of the La Junta Railroaders, a minor league baseball team of the short-lived Rocky Mountain League.
