Dale A. Anderson is an American aerospace engineer and computational fluid dynamicist. Anderson was the Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Vice President for Research and Dean of Graduate Students at the University of Texas at Arlington, United States. He is known for his overall contributions to the field of computational fluid dynamics. Anderson has co-authored the first comprehensive textbook in CFD, Computational Fluid Mechanics and Heat Transfer, with John Tannehill and Richard Pletcher that educated a generation around the world.
