Who is Dan Dawson?

Dan Dawson is a Canadian professional lacrosse player who plays for the Rochester Knighthawks of the National Lacrosse League, Brampton Excelsiors of Major Series Lacrosse, and is currently a free agent in Major League Lacrosse. Dawson ranks 10th on the all-time NLL points list as of the end of the 2011 season. He is a 7 time NLL All Pro selection. As a professional, he is a 5 time Mann Cup Canadian box lacrosse champion, and a 1 time Major League Lacrosse champion. Representing Canada, Dawson has won two World Indoor Lacrosse Championship titles and was a finalist in the 2010 World Lacrosse Championship. To date, the NLL Champions Cup has eluded him, reaching the finals on 3 different occasions but losing in 2005 and 2007 with Arizona Sting, and 2008 with Portland LumberJax.
