Who is Dan Drew?

Dan Drew was an Irish hurler who played as a forward for the Cork senior team.

Drew made his first appearance for the team during the 1890 championship and was a regular member of the starting fifteen until his retirement after the 1892 championship. During that time he won two All-Ireland medals and two Munster medals.

At club level Drew was a one-time county championship medalist with Aghabullogue.

Drew, together with his team-mate Pat Buckley, became the first players to win two All-Ireland winners' medals on the field of play.
