Dan Maydan

Who is Dan Maydan?

Dan Maydan, Ph.D. has been a member of Infinera´s board of directors since

September 2001. From April 2003 to September 2005, Dr. Maydan served as

the President Emeritus of Applied Materials, Inc., a company that

manufactures semiconductor equipment, and was a member of its board of

directors from June 1992 until March 2006. From December 1993 to April

2003, Dr. Maydan served as President of Applied Materials. Dr. Maydan holds a B.S. and

M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Israel Institute of Technology

and a Ph.D. in Physics from Edinburgh University of Scotland.
