Who is Dane Johnson?
Dane Edward Johnson is a retired Major League Baseball pitcher. He played during three seasons at the major league level for the Chicago White Sox, Toronto Blue Jays, and Oakland Athletics. He was drafted by the Blue Jays in the 2nd round of the 1984 amateur draft. Johnson played his first professional season with their Rookie league Medicine Hat Blue Jays in 1984, and his last season with Triple-A affiliates of the Florida Marlins and Blue Jays in 1998. In 1990 and 1991 he also ever played for CPBL's Brother Elephants and Mercuries Tigers.
Johnson is currently a roving minor league pitching instructor with the Blue Jays.
