Who is Daniel Cámpora?

Daniel Hugo Cámpora is an Argentine chess grandmaster.

He was Argentine Junior Champion in 1975. He was twice Argentine Champion in 1986 and 1989, and twice Sub-Champion in 1978 and 1987.

In tournaments, he took 2nd at Bogotá 1980. In 1981, he tied for 4-6th in Vršac. In 1983, he took 2nd in Andorra, and won in Tuzla. In 1987, he took 3rd in Biel.

Campora has played for Argentina in nine Chess Olympiads.

He won individual gold medal at first board and silver medal for best rating performance at Moscow 1994.
