Who was Moritz Schreber?

Daniel Gottlob Moritz Schreber was a German physician and university teacher at the University of Leipzig. In 1844, he became director of the Leipzig Heilanstalt. His publications predominantly dealt with the subject of children's health and the social consequences of urbanization at the dawn of the Industrial Revolution.
