Who is Daniela L. Rus?
Daniela L. Rus is a Romanian-born American roboticist and a Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where she is Director of the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, Co-Director of the CSAIL Center for Robotics, and Director of the CSAIL Distributed Robotics Lab.
She was a recipient of the 2002 MacArthur Fellowship.
Rus received her Ph.D. at Cornell University. She was previously an assistant, associate, and full professor in the Computer Science Department at Dartmouth College before moving to MIT.
