Daniel "Danny" Hurcombe in Wigan district was a Welsh rugby union and professional rugby league footballer of the 1910s and '20s, playing club level rugby union for Talywain RFC, and playing representative level rugby league for Great Britain, and Wales, and at club level for Wigan, as a Wing, Centre, Stand-off/Five-eighth, or Scrum-half/Halfback, i.e. number 2 or 5, 3 or 4, 6, or 7.
