Who is Danny Wicks?
Danny Wicks is a former professional rugby league footballer for the Newcastle Knights of the National Rugby League competition. Wicks also previously played for the St. George Illawarra Dragons. His position of choice is prop, though he can also play second row.
In 2007, Wicks secured a three-year contract with the Newcastle Knights following Brian Smith's clean-out at the club. In 2010 he played for his former club the Grafton Ghosts based in Grafton on the New South Wales north coast.
He served an eighteen-month prison sentence for trafficking drugs from September 2011 to March 2013.
