Who is Darlyne Bailey?
Darlyne Bailey is an American education administrator and professor. She is the Dean of the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research at Bryn Mawr College, where she also serves as Special Assistant to the President for Community Partnerships. She began this position in 2009. Prior to this, she was at the University of Minnesota, as the first Dean of the then newly merged College of Education and Human Development from 2006 to 2008 and, from 2008-2009, as Assistant to the President. Bailey was formerly the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Teachers College at Columbia University, from January 2002 to September 2006. From 1988-2002, Dr. Bailey was the Dean of the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Bailey earned a master's degree in psychiatric social work from Columbia University and a doctorate in organizational behavior from Case Western Reserve University.
