David Baird Cheadle, Jr. was an American professional baseball player. A 6 ft 2 in, 203 lb left-handed pitcher, he appeared in two Major League games pitched for the 1973 Atlanta Braves. He was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and attended high school in Asheville, North Carolina. He attended and graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, after his baseball career ended.
