David Anthony "Dave" Hartnett CB is a former British civil servant who served as the Permanent Secretary for Tax at HM Revenue and Customs until his retirement in July 2012. Following his retirement he advised HSBC on financial crime governance alongside former Director General of the Serious Organised Crime Agency, Bill Hughes.
