Who is David Bagration of Mukhrani?
Prince David Bagrationi of Mukhrani, David Bagration de Moukhrani y de Zornoza, or Davit Bagration-Mukhraneli is a Spanish-born scion of the Mukhrani branch of the former Georgian Bagrationi dynasty and current claimant to the headship of the dynasty and to the historical royal house of Georgia, succeeding on the death of his father Jorge de Bagration on 16 January 2008.
David's 2009 marriage to Anna Bagration-Gruzinsky, a member of the rivaling Gruzinsky branch of the Bagrationi, his marital life, and subsequent divorce in 2013, received high publicity.
