David Broadbent

Who is David Broadbent?

David Broadbent, born in 1960, was appointed to the

Executive Board in January 2007 and assumed responsibility for the

Research Development Business Division Enterprise Transaction

Systems (ETS).Mr. Broadbent joined Software AG

in July 1999 as a Sales Manager in the UK subsidiary. In the years that

followed, Mr. Broadbent became UK Sales Director, then Country Manager

South Africa and most recently, Senior Vice President of Sales in the

United States.Active in the IT industry since

1981, Mr. Broadbent spent the early years of his career working in

sales in the UK. Following five years in the Middle East, Mr. Broadbent

returned to the UK and spent the next sixteen years in various sales

and sales management positions at software vendors Computer Associates,

Borland and ESP.
