Who is Davit Gogibedashvili?
Davit Gogibedashvili, also known as David Dephy is a Georgian poet, novelist and performer. David Dephy was born on June 21, 1968 in Tbilisi, Georgia. In 1992 he graduated from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. From 1995 to 2000, he collaborated with film directors Otar Ioseliani and Nana Jorjadze. In 2011, his short story "Before the End" was anthologized in The Best European Fiction 2012, edited by Aleksandar Hemon. He participated in PEN World Voices Festival 2011 in New York, as a poet and novelist. He was in poetry Live show ‘The Second Skin’ with Laurie Anderson in New York with Yusef Komunyakaa and Salman Rushdie.
